Fig bars, healthy and great tasting

We took these on our trip tho Alaska. They were great and healthy instead of junk during hikes. We take one each with us when we take a bike ride. Rushing out of the house in the morning, it's a great breakfast for me too.

Who changed the recipe?

When I first ate these fig bars the cookie wheat outside was moist and tasty. The ratio of fig jam was just right and delicious. Some of the other jam flavors were great too. However, in the last few months I have bought new boxes at stores and the wheat outside is dry and not as tasty. The ratio of wheat to jam is way off with more crust. Also cancels what little is left of the jam flavor. Bring back the original. I can't stand these new ones.

They're delicious, but the amount of added sugar is crazy. They should really redevelop this recipe to reduce the sugar. Figs are sweet enough on their own.

fig bar made into pb & j sandwich

My family loves them all! My grandson was eating a raspberry fig bar and ask for a peanut butter jelly sandwich. I told him I did not have bread. So he put JIF squeeze peanut butter on his fig bar and said its ok he made his own pb & J sandwich.

Not the same fig bars

I used to love these, but in the last 5 years they’ve gotten smaller. In addition, the most recent boxes I purchased the bars are not soft.

GLASS in bar

I am completely shocked and unnerved after purchasing and consuming these fig bars. I went to eat a bar yesterday and almost BROKE MY TEETH on them. When I went to investigate why it felt like I was chomping on a rock, I found a piece of GLASS in it!! I reached out to the company, they are going to test it at their lab, but I’m positive it’s glass and I’m so angry and unsettled because of this. I GAVE THESE TO MY 4 and 6 year old. Safe to say I will NOT be buying these ever again!!!! They apologized and said they will send out “fresh” box, but I will be donating these and praying no one else gets glass in theirs!!!

I have been purchasing natures bakery fig bars for over six years. They are delicious and healthy but the ever shrinking product and the ever climbing cost since 2020 has been more than noticeable. You have now reduced a cookie to the size of a fig newton. Very sad and at best your greed has exceeded your good sense. I will not be purchasing your products anymore. Thank you for a good run and I am sincerely disappointed you have succumb to corporate bullcrap.
